Hinterstoder features a total of 14 circular walking routes suitable for leisure walkers and hikers of all ages and offering stunning views.
Introduced in May 2007, the Hinterstoder loop trails take visitors to the most beautiful spots in lovely Stodertal Valley.
Our offering comprises short walks, such as the Village Tour or Kneipp Tour, as well as routes higher up the mountains (with stunning views of the Stodertal mountains!), and easy Alpine tours in the rugged Hutter-Höss area (with viewpoint!). Some of the trails start on the doorstep and offer fascinating views of the valley from start to finish.
Clearly signposted, all trails are easy to follow even without a guide.
Inexpensive transportation service ("Wandertaxi") to neighboring villages and valleys.

A visit to the local mountain inns and refuge huts is an absolute MUST!
The countless hiking trails lead past outstandingly beautiful areas and pasturelands boasting a great variety of rare fauna and flora.
Many routes and walking trails are deeply rooted in tradition where wayside shrines and rustic mountain huts tell old stories of days long past. An infinite number of quaint snack stations serve regional specialties and delights you should not miss!
All those having a good stamina and mountain experience are strongly recommended to conquer the area´s majestic peaks and summits.
